"One Beat...One Breath...One Love"

We arrived at the cemetary with so many mixed emotions.  Anxiety, passion, commitment, sadness, joy, pride, and most of all LOVE.  One by one, we stepped onto the main reason we all made this year's reunion possible.  For myself, when I step on the cemetary, I feel an overwhelming spirit of LOVE, and PEACE.  Our loved ones out there like they are just smiling from ear to ear at what THEY'VE DONE!! ;-)  Many years of tradition passed down from generation to generation unfolding before our eyes.  Makes one shed tears, knowing that they are dearly missed and loved.  I feel honored to continue this tradition for my family in which I heard stories of trips 'down south' for the '30th of May'.  That seemed like a 'given' trip every year for all those who have gone on already.  Flowers are the key of showing our love and on going tradition.  Our cemetary is a legacy that we all hold dear to our hearts.  Sooo much love out there....a bond...a connection that we ALL share.  The tree that's in the middle of the cemetary is symbolic to me.  That tree has to be older than all of us...geesh...would like to know how old??  I do know that the roots are so BIG that they can not be BROKEN. <=(SYMBOLISM) It's been proven.  Seems like this family as a whole, we are branching every year.  As the branches fall, so are there new ones growing.  ****

Me and my baby girl Tehya was on our way, to begin the journey so many of our forefathers, grand-mothers & aunts etc... have embarked.... 'TRAVELING DOWN SOUTH'.  Hehehe...yes it was nostalgic.

My train was to Greensboro, then I rode to Winfall with my baby bro.  I guess you can say that it's in our blood, IF THERE'S A WILL...THERE'S A WAY!!!  I made sure I found ways to get there.   ;-)  We stayed over in Greensboro for two days before we headed ~~HOME! <~~hint: nostalgia!

Although we didn't arrive until 3:00 a.m. Saturday, all the planning and preparation was about to GET STARTED..............
